Admissions

How to apply, waitlist information, and financial support

Admissions Process

Admission process
1. Information request. Complete the information request through the online questionnaire or by calling +34 672 077 780, Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m.
2. Interview. The Admissions Manager will contact the applicant's family to schedule the best day for a virtual or in-person interview (in line with Covid-19 security measures). In this interview, all aspects of the Educational Program for the relevant stage are explained, along with practical information on services, rates, documentation, etc.
3. Baseline test. Depending on the stage, the center may request a baseline test to assess the student's level and to get to know each other.
4. Acceptance and granting of a place. If admitted, the family will receive a Welcome Letter to Eleven, along with the documentation and explanations necessary to formalise enrolment.

Admissions policy
Whenever there is a vacancy, the acceptance of new students can be assessed.
Acceptance
Once the committee decides to admit your candidacy:
– The student's level of English will be assessed, depending on the stage and the commitment of the family and the student.
– The family must complete the necessary documentation to formalise the enrolment. This process is done online through the Transparent Classroom program. The family will receive an email with a username and instructions to access and create their password. This allows you to upload all the documents and data necessary for the official registration.
– Firm admission. This will only be formalised by paying the registration fee and the material fee, which must be made within the next 7 calendar days from the notification of admission, i.e., the Welcome Letter. If the payment is not made within that period, the place will be lost.
– You will also receive our Family Manual. This document contains all the centre's policies and procedures for new registrations.
Waiting List
In the event that the candidate has been accepted but there is not a place available, their application will be registered on the waiting list. Admissions will contact the family in the event that a place is released.
Non-acceptance.
The centre reserves the right to not accept an application in the following cases:
The documentation is falsified or information of the candidate is omitted.
There is some element in the previous academic record that is valued as an agent that could affect their evolution at the centre.
Incompatibility in the applicant's profile with respect to the type of profile that Eleven seeks to develop.

Scholarships and Financial Aid

Subsidies (scholarships) for private 0-3 centers in Galicia
The Xunta de Galicia operates a subsidy program for private entities that run 0-3 education to promote the gratuity of the educational care for second and subsequent children and to waive the tuition for the places used by those children for the 2021/22 course. The subsidy is intended to universalize access to early childhood education and requires the private center to meet program conditions and reside in Galicia. The total budget allocated to these subsidies is 10,636,364 euros for 2021-2022. Private centers must be registered in the Registro Único de Entidades Prestadoras de Servicios Sociales (RUEPSS) of the Secretaría de Política Social. The program covers: 1) a 100% discount of the price for educational care provided between January 1, 2021 and August 31, 2022, and 2) 100% waiver of the tuition for the spaces used for the course 2021/22 by second children and subsequent children of a family. The subsidy framework also allows subsidies to private entities that did not previously access government aid and proves the gratuity of the 2020/21 tuition and the 100% discount for the educational care since the start of that course. Educational care means activities within the classroom during ordinary hours. Residence in Galicia is required for beneficiaries. For 2021-2022, the allocation and management of these subsidies follow the rules of the program, and the funding can be extended or adjusted subject to availability and budget modifications.

Eleven School is a private Montessori-inspired school delivering a British education, accredited by the British Council. Located in Vigo, it serves children aged 0 to 16 across three educational stages—pre-school, primary and secondary—implemented through dedicated spaces: Nursery 0-1, Nursery 1-2, Casa de ninos for 3-6 and Taller I for 6-9, with open, student-led Montessori classrooms. The curriculum blends Montessori pedagogy with English-language instruction delivered by native teachers, and promotes bicultural learning with mappings between the British and Spanish systems. Arts and crafts are integrated, and music features in the timetable. The campus offers large, versatile classrooms and extensive outdoor zones around a central courtyard to support hands-on, independent learning in mixed-age groups. The timetable includes Early Risers 07:00-09:00, classes 09:00-16:00, after-class 16:00-16:30, and extracurriculars 16:30-18:30. Facilities include craft spaces, dedicated workspaces, and a focus on movement, autonomy and guided exploration. A bus service and healthy local meals complement school life.
