The education centre started with 5 students 10 years ago and has grown to about 40 students. Class sizes range from one-to-one lessons to a maximum of 10. The school uses a holistic approach to teaching, with the welfare of the student paramount, and provides mentors to help students cope with the pressures of academic and social life. It also teaches independent research techniques to prepare students for university life.
Building Strong Connections describes the school's aim to build a good working relationship between teachers, students and parents. Teaching staff bring international experience and a commitment to bringing out the best in each student in very small classes.
Emerald Sixth Form is a private, co-educational centre for ages 11 to 18, with an inclusive ethos and a learning community. Curriculum offers iLower Secondary KS3 for Years 7–9 using Edexcel materials to build foundations in English, Mathematics and Science, and to cover History, Geography, ICT, Business, Spanish, Media, Esports and PE. IGCSE options are flexible, with Mathematics and English treated as core alongside a broad range of GCSE subjects, while BTEC qualifications provide vocational, coursework‑oriented study across Business, Health and Social Care, Engineering and Information Technology. A Levels run over two years (Years 12–13) using Edexcel International A Levels to prepare learners for higher education. Class sizes range from one‑to‑one to a maximum of 10. Distinctive features include Constant Academic Mentoring, Continuous Pastoral Care, and training in independent research techniques to support university life and lifelong learning. There is extra English language support from a TEFL teacher as needed.
