It began as a nonprofit association formed by families and teachers united by a shared vision of education based on Waldorf principles. The initiative arose in response to the needs of the present time, guided by the principles and methods of Waldorf pedagogy. We are a nonprofit association composed of families and teachers united by this vision, committed to childhood and its full development, with care for the environment. An optimistic outlook toward the future and a pursuit of quality education aligned with the era's challenges brought us together to create the Escuela Waldorf Rudolf Steiner. Our school serves the early childhood stage (3 to 5 years) and primary (6 to 12 years), and is in the recognition phase with NEASC (New England Association of Schools and Colleges).

Developed by families and teachers united by Waldorf principles, the school emphasizes holistic development—physical, emotional, spiritual and intellectual—within a respectful learning community. The curriculum follows Waldorf pedagogy, integrating artistic and practical activities with ongoing academic progress, while prioritizing close collaboration between families and teachers. The school is in the accreditation process with NEASC, reflecting its commitment to meeting high standards. A distinctive feature is the leadership of Waldorf educator Sandra Chandía, who serves as a pedagogical advisor and guides professional development through Vivir Waldorf courses and workshops. The environment is described as respectful, loving and cooperative, with a strong emphasis on environmental care and social responsibility guiding daily life and school culture. It warmly welcomes families seeking a community-based Waldorf education worldwide.
