Spanish and English are taught in a bilingual model, enabling students to communicate in two languages. French or German is offered as a third foreign language, starting in the sixth year of primary and continuing through the second year of high school, with the aim of reaching B1/B2 proficiency and external tests. In Secondary, about 50% of subjects are taught in English under the Cambridge International Lower and Upper Secondary framework. The language provision includes international experiences within the center and support for study abroad programs in the USA, Ireland, Switzerland and the UK.
Highlands Los Fresnos provides bilingual education from 4 months through high school. Real language immersion begins in Highlands Early Years. Up to age 2, each classroom has two tutors, one in Spanish and one in English, ensuring continuous exposure to both languages. From age 3 onwards, students alternate full days with either an English-speaking or Spanish-speaking tutor, delivering instruction in one language at a time. The Speaking Corner provides weekly sessions led by a native-speaking English teacher to support oral English, and Cambridge International Program is part of the curriculum.
Highlands School Los Fresnos is a Catholic bilingual school in Boadilla del Monte, Madrid, serving learners from 0 to 18 years. It belongs to the Regnum Christi network and has more than 15 years of history. The school blends Cambridge Primary for the early years with Cambridge Secondary, and is a Cambridge Assessment International Education center as well as a Microsoft Showcase School.
