Highlands School Los Fresnos is a Catholic bilingual school in Boadilla del Monte, Madrid, serving learners from 0 to 18 years. It belongs to the Regnum Christi network and has more than 15 years of history. The school blends Cambridge Primary for the early years with Cambridge Secondary, and is a Cambridge Assessment International Education center as well as a Microsoft Showcase School. In Early Years, bilingual education uses real language immersion from year one: up to age 2 each classroom has two tutors, one Spanish-speaking and one English-speaking; from age 3 students alternate days with either language. From age 5, Cambridge International Curriculum is implemented. It implements tailored educational project, with active learning, critical thinking, creativity, and oral expression.
