The school is an international, trilingual Montessori school authorized by the Xunta de Galicia as a foreign educational center. It is located in the Sar neighborhood, in facilities adjacent to the Santa María la Real de Sar church, known as the Colegiata de Sar. Academic activity began in September 2016 with Casa (Children's House) for ages 3–6 and Taller 1 (Lower Elementary) for ages 6–9. In subsequent academic years, capacities and ages were expanded to provide four years of secondary education (Montessori Adolescents Program). The campus has more than 4,000 m² of outdoor space and 900 m² of usable classroom space on the ground and first floors, with windows toward the cloister of the Colegiata, creating a unique learning environment. Being certified by an American agency with international recognition, we provide a system of support and evaluation that reflects the best and most demanding practices of educational quality.

International School Montessori Compostela is a tri-lingual international day school in Galicia, Spain, offering a Montessori-based curriculum to students aged 3 to 16. The program provides Early Childhood (Casa, ages 3–6), Primary (Taller 1 and related years, ages 6–12), and a Montessori Adolescents Program for Secondary ESO (ages 12–16).
