Founded in 2007, The International School of Catalunya (ISCAT) is a British school located in La Garriga, Barcelona. It offers formal British education to students aged 3 to 18, from Early Years to A Levels, with the National Curriculum of England and Wales; GCSE is taken around age 16, followed by A Levels, all of which are recognised and convalidated by local Generalitat and international institutions. ISCAT complements the core curriculum with Forest School and the UNICEF Rights Respecting Schools programme. In 2012, ISCAT became the first school in Spain to offer Forest School under the guidance of Forest Leader Emma Montgomery.
