Eiken (Test for Practical English Proficiency) is hosted as a semi-official testing site twice a year. The latest Eiken schedule for the current year is available. In recent years, students taking the tests have achieved a 100% pass rate at levels 2–5, with many achieving higher levels than their grade. Taking the exam is not mandatory, but it is actively encouraged by the school as a tool to develop English proficiency.
