Kaleide International School is a family-run, progressive microschool on Tenerife, Spain, welcoming children aged 3 to 12. The school teaches in English and Spanish as a bilingual program and emphasizes active, child-centered learning through play, authentic projects, nature, and collaboration. Its curriculum blends Reggio Emilia and Montessori approaches with Forest Schools, complemented by a bespoke program tailored to each learner's path. Children design their own learning journeys in partnership with a dedicated pedagogical team, with a focus on critical thinking, exploration, and intrinsic motivation rather than grades or tests. Founded in 2021 by Diego and Diana, Kaleide operates with a sense of community and care for the child and the natural world. The school is authorized as a foreign school by Canary Islands Department of Education and has a NEASC Candidate status in its accreditation process.
