Social and Emotional Learning (SEL)

The school supports social and emotional learning through PSHE. The Primary atmosphere is happy and respectful, with pupils and staff showing mutual respect in all interactions. A broad, balanced and challenging curriculum is offered with small class sizes to support individual development. Pupils are encouraged to discover and develop talents through musical and sporting activities, excursions and residential trips. Emphasis is placed on positive behaviour, good manners and respect for others. The school provides opportunities for student voice and leadership through the Senior Students, School Council and the House System.

Mental Wellbeing

The school community is supportive and nurturing, recognising and valuing each student's skills, abilities and talents. Core values and personal development are promoted while students are encouraged to achieve their academic targets. King Richard III College is a British international private day school located in Portals Nous, Mallorca, enrolling students from age 2 to 18. The curriculum combines the English national framework with Cambridge IGCSE and Cambridge AS/A2 examinations, alongside Pearson Edexcel IGCSE and a bilingual Spanish pathway through Bachillerato. The school teaches core subjects from the Early Years Foundation Stage through Key Stages 2–5, culminating in A Levels, and offers Marine Science, Photography and Music at advanced levels. A dedicated Spanish/Bachillerato track runs in parallel, supporting an international student body drawn from more than 40 nationalities.
