English is the language of instruction. Spanish language instruction begins in Nursery and is delivered by native-speaking teachers with structured hours in the early years.
English is the language of instruction in the classroom. Spanish language instruction is delivered to all pupils from Nursery, increasing in the early years (3 hours per week in Year 1 and 4 hours per week in Year 2). This supports bilingual development in English and Spanish.
King's College Chamartín, an infant school in central Madrid, is part of the King's College Group with over five decades of British education. The Chamartín campus offers EYFS, the British Curriculum and a Reggio Emilia-inspired approach in Early Years and Key Stage 1. The Primary programme follows the English National Curriculum (Years 1–2) with core subjects taught in English by UK-trained teachers and a strong Spanish bilingual pathway.
