King's College The British School of Madrid – Soto de Viñuelas sits on a 12-acre campus in Tres Cantos, offering the British curriculum up to IGCSE and a Sixth Form that prepares students for A-levels or the IB Diploma. The school serves ages 0 to 18 as a private day school with Tenbury House, a boarding residence for up to 70 pupils. Founded in 1969, it moved to its current site in 1978 and joined Inspired in 2019. Facilities include modern classrooms, ten science labs, a library, and digital learning with iPads and Chromebooks, plus a sports centre, an outdoor pitch, an indoor pool, a gym, dance studios, and a 400-seat auditorium. The campus hosts an on-site horse riding arena and stables, a Peace Garden, and external classrooms. Submit an Enquiry. Register your interest by completing the Enquiry Form. After submission, a member of the Admissions Team will contact you to guide you through the admissions process for your child. The team is available to support you throughout.
Visit the Campus. Parents and students are encouraged to visit the school before enrolment. If travel is not possible due to geographical restrictions, an online interview can be arranged. Interviews provide an opportunity to learn about the school and meet the academic team and admissions staff.
Submit an Application. Complete the Application Form. Applications should include copies of the child's birth certificate or passport, the Libro de Familia or other identity documents, and a passport-size photo. If available, include the child's two most recent school reports, custody documents if applicable, referee contacts for Year 6 and above, and any results of academic or psychological evaluations.
Assessments. Entry assessments include: for Years 1 to 3, a meeting with the Head of Primary to carry out simple literacy and numeracy tasks in English; for Years 4 and above, an online CAT4 assessment and an English written assessment (non-refundable admissions assessment fee of €30); for Year 11 and boarding applicants, an interview with a senior member of the academic team. All assessments can be conducted onsite or online.
Receive an Offer. After all entry requirements have been fulfilled, the school will send a letter or email of acceptance. To confirm acceptance, parents must pay a non-refundable enrolment fee. To secure boarding entry, a returnable security deposit must also be paid to the school.
Confirmation of Admission. After the enrolment fee and any boarding deposit (if applicable) have been received, the Admissions Department will formally confirm acceptance.
Nsouli Scholars Programme provides up to 50 full scholarships across Inspired schools at any one time for the duration of a student's education. Scholarships are awarded to individuals of Lebanese origin, in recognition of Nadim Nsouli's heritage. The programme enables scholars to pursue education within the Inspired network, including access to academics, sports, arts and extracurricular activities.
