LIFE International School emphasizes Character Development, Collaboration, and Service as core educational areas. The teacher acts as a model and coach who comes alongside each student to stimulate the student's desire and joy of learning, and teamwork is an educational emphasis to prepare students for global leadership. Biblical Integration and values-based learning undergird classroom relationships and personal growth, supporting social-emotional development.
Classes are small to accommodate needs for hands-on learning, language support, and individualized support for special learning needs.
English Immersion: Classes are taught in English by teachers who are certified to teach non-native students. Students with different levels of English learn in the same class with their peers. Individualized English instruction and support is provided to help students achieve fluency in content areas. Spanish language and culture are taught in primary courses.
LIFE emphasizes a safe, nurturing, supportive environment with a warm community. The school fosters respect for others, kindness, leadership, and conflict resolution rooted in empathy, and teachers care for students beyond academics.
LIFE International School is a private Christian international school in Tres Cantos, Madrid, delivering an American curriculum entirely in English immersion from age 3 to 18. The Early Childhood program (Pre-K–Kindergarten) uses thematic units that integrate reading, math, science, language development, and social skills through guided play, music, art, and library resources. Elementary (Grades 1–6) teaches English-language core subjects with two Spanish classes, while all other classes are in English and feature cross-curricular projects. Secondary (Grades 7–12) offers a full international pathway preparing students for universities in Spain, the United States, and beyond, with core subjects in English and two Spanish classes. LIFE holds accreditations from MSA and ACSI, and can issue a U.S. high school diploma; diplomas require co-validation for Spanish universities. The new campus on Ronda de Poniente 3 opened in 2026 and shares the Tres Cantos site with SID Madrid, with emphasis on service, leadership, health, and community.
