Los Sauces Torrelodones is a private, non-denominational school in the Los Peñascales area, northwest Madrid. Founded in 1991, it offers Pre-School through Bachillerato for around 1,200 pupils. The bilingual Spanish–English program is taught by native English-speaking teachers; from 4th Primary, pupils may choose French or German as a second foreign language, and Chinese is an extracurricular activity. The Dublin Programme sends students to Bray Centre in Dublin for a month in 5th–6th Primary and 1st–2nd Secondary, with English as the sole language of instruction. The school offers the American High School Diploma and runs the USA Project for an exchange with American students in 4th Secondary. On an 18,000 m2 campus, facilities include laboratories, workshops, a library, an auditorium, a dining hall for 1,000, a heated pool, an indoor pavilion, and extensive outdoor spaces. Extracurriculars include drama, Chinese, Flamenco, and debate, with emphasis on emotional intelligence and public speaking.
