The Lycée Français de Madrid runs Labo et Club de Maths and Sciences et Technologie as pedagogy projects to foster inquiry, experimentation, and problem-solving. The Scratch Junior project has 3ème students coding educational apps for kindergarten and primary, including La fête d'anniversaire de Julie, Bob, le pingouin au supermarché, La mare aux grenouilles, Mission Montagne, and Rendez-vous au supermarché. Students present these Scratch Junior projects to younger pupils, creating intergenerational learning and collaboration. Voyages et sorties scolaires are organized to extend learning beyond the classroom.
Arts et culture, Musique, and Théâtre are offered as pedagogy projects to develop creativity and self-expression. The school hosts arts activities and events, including a flashmob dance project that involved professional choreography. Cultural visits are arranged, such as the exhibition Welcome to the Circus at Institut Français Madrid, exposing students to contemporary art. LFM Radio provides a student media platform with programs for both primary and secondary students.
Langues is a pedagogy project focused on language learning and intercultural engagement. EUROmad is a cross-European language and culture initiative, and Un mundo de librerías broadens cultural exposure through libraries and literature. Voyages et sorties scolaires round out cultural experiences with field trips and school travel.
Ateliers de jeunes auteurs (young authors workshops) and Ateliers et rencontres (workshops and meetings) offer creative writing and collaborative activities. Poilus de Madrid is a cultural project that engages students in historical and literary exploration. LFM Radio provides student-run audio programming for primary and secondary students.
Citoyenneté (citizenship) projects promote social responsibility and community involvement, complemented by Développement durable (sustainability) initiatives. Projet Niger involves students in charitable or development-related activities. The school encourages volunteering and civic engagement across age groups.
Sport is a central part of school life, including a Rugby Club that returned to the Spanish first division in 2025 and ongoing participation in regional competitions. The ZE Tour 2026 unites the school across Europe in a cross-country physical activity challenge. The Carrera de la Mujer 2025 saw nearly 100 LFM participants from students and staff supporting breast-cancer awareness. A variety of dance, fitness, and sport activities are highlighted, including a flashmob dance event associated with a professional troupe.
Located on two campuses, Conde de Orgaz in Madrid and La Moraleja in Alcobendas, the Lycée Français de Madrid is a French national school within the AEFE network, welcoming pupils from ages 2 to 18. It delivers the French curriculum with living-language options in English, German and Spanish; English is taught in the Primary Department, while the second language program includes German with mobility experiences such as Strasbourg. An English-language strand, Anglais Monde Contemporain, and a DNL-SES in English support language immersion across primary and secondary levels. The school operates on a 10-hectare site at Conde de Orgaz and Moraleja, each with facilities, mediathèques and theatres, plus sports facilities. Since 2013 the school has pursued sustainability initiatives. A program includes Labo et Club de Maths, Sciences et Technologie projects, and LFM Radio, as well as arts activities like Musique and Théâtre, plus cross-European projects such as EUROmad and Projet Niger.
