The Lycée Français de Madrid operates on two campuses: Conde de Orgaz in the northeast of Madrid and La Moraleja in Alcobendas. It is a French national education establishment and is not bilingual, though it provides high-level Spanish instruction. It belongs to the AEFE network. Since 2013, LFM has pursued a sustainable development approach to reduce its ecological footprint across the short, medium and long term. Conde de Orgaz covers 10 hectares of parkland and hosts over 3,800 students across all levels. It has quality sports facilities, multiple mediathèques and a prestigious theatre. La Moraleja, inaugurated in 2013, has modern new buildings with spacious, pleasant and specialized classrooms, as well as sports facilities and a new media library.
Conde de Orgaz has quality sports facilities and La Moraleja has sports facilities as well. The two sites include spaces for physical education as part of their educational spaces.
Conde de Orgaz serves from the Very Small Section of Kindergarten (from the 2025 intake) to Terminale, on a 10-hectare site with spaces dedicated to each level. It has quality sports facilities, several mediathèques and a prestigious theatre. Moraleja, inaugurated in 2013, has new buildings with modern architecture and spacious, pleasant, specialized classrooms, as well as sports facilities and a new media library. Moraleja is a human-sized campus of about 600 students.
The school runs a broad range of pedagogical projects beyond the classroom, including arts and culture, citizenship, sustainable development, education for the media, EuroMad, pedagogical gardens, Labo et Club de Maths, languages, music, theatre, Poilus de Madrid, Niger project, and Voyages et sorties scolaires. Labo and Maths Club offers math-focused activities in room B21A-B21B, meeting Fridays from 13:15 to 15:10. There are language initiatives, music, theatre, and trips as part of the program. Projects such as Poilus de Madrid and Projet Niger are part of the program.

It delivers the French curriculum with living-language options in English, German and Spanish; English is taught in the Primary Department, while the second language program includes German with mobility experiences such as Strasbourg. An English-language strand, Anglais Monde Contemporain, and a DNL-SES in English support language immersion across primary and secondary levels. Since 2013 the school has pursued sustainability initiatives. A program includes Labo et Club de Maths, Sciences et Technologie projects, and LFM Radio, as well as arts activities like Musique and Théâtre, plus cross-European projects such as EUROmad and Projet Niger.
