These may be partial or full, depending on the family's financial situation. How to apply: The scholarship application must be submitted together with the family's financial situation, which will first be studied by a local commission at the Consulate in Barcelona. It is then forwarded to the national commission in Paris, to make the final decision. For more information, please consult the website of the Consulate General of France in Barcelona. Calendar: There are two application periods: Normal: in the months of January and February prior to the course for which the scholarship is requested. Special: in August and September, only for students who have recently arrived in Spain. The amount of the grant is communicated to the school and the families, in the first case, between June and July, and, in the second case, in December.
Lycée Français International de Reus, founded in 1988, is an international school in southern Catalonia offering the French national curriculum for students aged 3 to 18. The school operates a distinctive four-language instructional model, integrating French as the primary language alongside English, Spanish, and Catalan. Students prepare for the French Diplôme National du Brevet and the Baccalauréat, achieving a 100% pass rate in recent cohorts. For upper secondary students, the school collaborates with CNED to provide specialized elective subjects, ensuring broad academic options including advanced language studies. The campus features extensive outdoor spaces designed to support play and physical activity in a quiet, natural environment. In addition to core subjects, students engage in extracurriculars ranging from robotics and chess to theater and rhythmic gymnastics. By combining the structured French educational framework with deep regional linguistic integration, the school prepares graduates for higher education in France, Spain, and internationally.
