Pedagogy is differentiated for ages 3 to 18, with each student progressing at their own pace. The school adapts to the student, not the student to the school. Personalized support helps validate the competencies of the French and Spanish programs and the Bachibac double diploma.
The extracurricular program includes creative and technical activities such as graffiti, modern dance, robotics, and drone piloting. The schedule also features French expression and cooking, with English-supported learning activities. French-language camps provide 100% French and English language immersion with bilingual monitors.
From the first year, students learn in three languages: French, English, and Spanish. English is validated at the expert level (C1) through official European exams (DALF, Cambridge, and DELE). There are international exchanges around the world. French-language camps offer 100% French and English immersion.
The program includes sports and recreational activities through the Jules Verne club. Summer and after-school sports camps offer activities such as football, basketball, volleyball, swimming, skating, and more. Activities emphasize teamwork, physical development, and active participation in organized groups.
Well-being is a cornerstone of the school: a happy and thriving child at school. Anti-bullying is activated through the national pHARe program at the slightest sign. Individualized attention is provided for students with special needs, including learning difficulties and high potential.
On the edge of Santa Cruz de Tenerife, Lycée Français International de Tenerife Jules Verne offers education for ages 3 to 18 within Mission Laïque Française. The school follows the French curriculum and provides a trilingual programme in French, English and Spanish, with English introduced early so students graduate multilingual for international study. It is an authorized Cambridge exam centre and DELF/DALF centre, and pupils graduate with Brevet or Baccalauréat from the French system, and with Graduado en ESO or Bachillerato from the Spanish system. The Bachibac double diploma enables university access in France, Spain and beyond. The campus is near university and arts environment, with IT integrated across the curriculum: every classroom has a computer, primary pupils use tablets, and secondary students use laptops. The mediathèque opened in 2019 and supports resources in French, Spanish and English. Well-being, individual support and arts, robotics and language programmes complete the offer.
