English begins in the Petite Section and continues through Terminale, with some subjects taught in English across the curriculum (EMILE in primary; DNL in secondary). Spanish is the host country language, with four hours of Spanish per week in kindergarten; non-Spanish-speaking students receive extra Spanish support, including two hours outside class and two hours in class from 6th to 2nd. Introduction to Spanish for students with limited command is organized by needs, in groups. French remains the language of communication and is reinforced through language-rich activities such as class projects, thematic weeks, web radio, and simulations of international organizations.
