Located in Murcia, Lycée Français International Murcia is a private school belonging to the Mission Laïque Française network. The infant program runs 2-6 years with 26 hours per week, followed by primary (6-11) with French as the core language and Spanish and English as additional languages. Bachillerato (ages 16-18) offers three modalities: Literature and Arts, Sciences, and Economics and Social Sciences. The campus spans 17,530 m², including 5,388 m² built with classrooms for primary and secondary, laboratories, a library and computer rooms. The school is the only French international school in Murcia and is accredited by the French Ministry of National Education. Multilingual education starts from age 2. The school teaches French, English and Spanish as its three languages. The infant program runs from 2 to 6 years with 26 hours of teaching per week. Primary education runs from 6 to 11 years, with French as the core language and the languages Spanish and English, plus mathematics, prioritized. Secondary education runs from 11 to 15 years, with the mastery of French and the development of a literary culture in French and Spanish. Bachillerato (ages 16 to 18) offers three general modalities: Literature and Arts, Sciences, and Economics and Social Sciences. The campus comprises 17,530 m² in total, with 5,388 m² dedicated to buildings, including new classrooms for primary and secondary. Studies guidance is individualized from early secondary. 97% of students access their first-choice university. In the last three years, 32% have chosen to continue their studies in France, and more than 10% pursue studies in other countries beyond France and Spain.
The school pursues the development of thinking and critical reflection for the world. In addition to mastering at least three languages (French, Spanish and English) and openness to other cultures, interculturality and multiculturalism require an enriched relationship with others, respect for difference, and real emotional intelligence.
French is the language of instruction and English is introduced from age 2. We have native French and English teachers.
Wellbeing is led by a dedicated Wellbeing Coordinator for Maternelle/Élémentaire and for Lycée/Collège. The role includes professional training in convivencia, emotional education and coeducation, leadership and communication; coordinates wellbeing actions, acts as the main contact for communications about potential violence, coordinates with social services and informs authorities when needed; promotes prevention, early detection and protection of students; the Wellbeing Team meets quarterly to review incidents and plan actions to improve the school climate and student wellbeing, and organises family talks on wellbeing topics.
The Protocolo Acoso Escolar establishes a zero-tolerance approach to violence and bullying, aims to prevent and address bullying in all forms, and defines a three-way response: internal intervention to ensure student safety, disciplinary action against the aggressor, and communication/reporting to authorities or external bodies as appropriate. It names the Wellbeing Coordinator and sets out governance, training, and annual reporting to monitor and improve safety and convivencia.

Submit the dossier: All dossiers must be deposited or mailed to the Consulate General of France in Madrid no later than 29 January 2026 (postmark). If depositing a dossier for the first time, the officer will contact you to schedule an appointment (in person or by phone). The main conditions for applying for a scholarship: The student must be a French national. The applicant and the child must be registered on the World Register of French nationals living abroad with the Consulate (ensure your registration is active). The child must reside with at least one parent in Spain. The scholarship application and enrollment at the school are two separate formalities (check availability with the school).
