Palma College is situated in the heart of Palma with easy access from cars, buses and trains. It is close to galleries, exhibitions and theatres, and is about 20 minutes from the airport. The main building sits in an old palacio on Can Veri, and a second building lies between the Parliament and Cathedral in Estudi General; there are two art studios, a drama studio and classrooms for all other subjects. There is a real supportive community feel to the College. The campus location and architectural spaces support a culturally rich environment for study and creativity.
AS and A2 Level qualifications are offered, with Edexcel as the examination board. Palma College is an approved Edexcel examination centre. Lower sixth students take four AS Level subjects with five and a half teaching hours per week per subject, plus a 15‑minute one‑to‑one meeting with their tutor; upper sixth students typically concentrate on three A2 Level subjects with seven teaching hours per week per subject, plus personal tutorials and ongoing one-to-one meetings. The language of teaching is English, supported by a highly qualified international staff. The curriculum includes sport, PHSE (Personal, Health, Social and Economic education), and a comprehensive enrichment programme, and the College maintains small class sizes to support individual progress.
A comprehensive enrichment programme is offered, including cultural activities and life skills development. The College is home to sport, PHSE, and a robust enrichment framework designed to prepare students for university and beyond. From September 2026, Palma College will also offer a Host Boarding Programme for international students aged 16–18 who wish to study A Levels or BTECs in Mallorca, living with carefully selected local host families. Host boarding provides a private bedroom, daily meals, a safe environment with clear house rules, and guidance toward independence, plus safeguarding with vetting of host families and ongoing monitoring. In addition, there is strong pastoral and academic support, including a 24-hour emergency contact service and coordination with host families, to ensure wellbeing and continuous enrichment outside the classroom.
Palma College is an independent international sixth-form college in Palma, Mallorca, established in 2012.
