Application / Matriculation fee
- Matriculation (enrolment) fee: EUR 1,000.
- Early-enrolment discounts on the Matriculation fee: pay EUR 600 (40% discount) if completed by 19 February; pay EUR 800 (20% discount) if completed by 16 May.
Tuition fees (per year and per term)
- Annual tuition (per student, Year 12 or Year 13): EUR 10,350 per academic year. This tuition covers all AS / A-level subjects provided by the college but does not include official examination entry fees.
- Academic year structure: the college publishes a three-term calendar (Term 1, Term 2, Term 3). Dividing the published annual tuition evenly across the three published terms equates to EUR 3,450 per term (EUR 10,350 ÷ 3). Use of this per-term figure is the arithmetic equivalent of the published annual fee and the college's published three-term calendar.
Tuition by year group
- Year 12 (first year of Sixth Form): EUR 10,350 per academic year (equivalent to EUR 3,450 per term when the annual fee is divided equally into the three published terms).
- Year 13 (second year of Sixth Form): EUR 10,350 per academic year (equivalent to EUR 3,450 per term when the annual fee is divided equally into the three published terms).
Billing schedule and payment terms
- The Matriculation fee is payable at enrolment; early-enrolment deadlines determine the discounted Matriculation amounts. The college publishes term start and end dates for the academic year, which form the operational billing periods. Specific invoice dates, instalment plans or other formal payment schedules are provided to families as part of the enrolment process.
Boarding / accommodation fees
- Phoenix College Málaga is a private day-school; boarding is not offered and there are no boarding fees.
Other costs and supplementary fees
- Official examination fees: official A-level / AS exam-entry fees are not included in the annual tuition and are calculated and charged separately.
- Supplementary academic charges: Spanish PCE (Selectividad) subjects and Cambridge Advanced English classes are available for an additional charge where required or requested.
- Study-club / evening IGCSE sessions: charged separately at EUR 21 per student per session; course-specific terms state that fees paid for study-club groups are non-refundable unless the college discontinues the class (in which case fees are refunded minus sessions already delivered).
- Uniform: there is no school uniform; appropriate dress is expected, so uniform purchase costs do not apply.
Refund information
- Study-club sessions: if the college discontinues a scheduled class, fees paid for that class are refundable minus the cost of sessions already delivered; sessions missed by a student are not refunded.
- General tuition and matriculation refunds: the published material states the Matriculation fee is an enrolment payment with early-enrolment deadlines; specific refund or cancellation terms for annual tuition and Matriculation are handled through the college's enrolment and contractual paperwork provided at offer and enrolment. Official exam-entry fees are charged separately and follow the awarding bodies' payment and refund rules.
Tax / VAT and additional charges
- Certain ancillary services (for example specific UCAS or consultancy services) are subject to IVA (VAT) at 21% where applicable; VAT may be added to some fee lines or optional services.
Fee payment options
- The college's public material confirms enrolment and invoicing procedures are managed as part of the offer and enrolment process; families receive payment instructions when an offer is made. Payment methods (bank transfer, card, instalment options) are provided during enrolment and on invoices given to parents. For course-specific services (UCAS consultancy, study-club, supplementary classes) the college publishes service fees and notes VAT where applicable.
If you are preparing an external database entry, include the following core fee lines exactly as shown above: Matriculation EUR 1,000 (with early-enrolment discounts EUR 600 / EUR 800), Annual tuition EUR 10,350 per Year 12 or Year 13 student, Official exam fees charged separately, Study-club EUR 21 per session.
