The school has a practical, smart and distinctive uniform. Boys wear a school cap, shirt, long trousers, jumper, tie, PE kit, blazer and campus jacket; girls wear a school cap, blue blouse, pinafore blouse, skirt or pinafore dress, jumper, cardigan and blazer; black leather shoes are required; on PE days, sensible sports shoes are worn. Hair should be practical and not distract learning. Jewellery and watches have restrictions; smart watches and internet-enabled devices are not permitted.
Packed lunches are allowed. The school provides daily cooked school dinners with a menu that changes weekly, and diets are catered for where possible. Carbonated or high-sugar or energy drinks are not permitted.
The school has four houses: Anne, Mary, Elizabeth and Victoria. Pupils are assigned to a house on joining, and house points are awarded for acts of kindness, effort, exemplary behaviour and outstanding work.
Queens British Grammar School in Estepona delivers the British National Curriculum to students aged 3 to 18, culminating in Cambridge IGCSE and A-Level qualifications. With a strict cap of 15 to 20 students per classroom, teachers provide individualized instruction tailored to each child's specific educational needs. The school requires Spanish language study for all pupils and provides a dedicated 'Intensive English Class' to bring non-native speakers up to standard before joining mainstream lessons. A distinctive feature of the campus is its traditional British House system. Upon enrollment, students are sorted into four houses—Anne, Mary, Elizabeth, and Victoria—where they earn house points for acts of kindness, consistent effort, and outstanding coursework. The school day runs from 8:45 AM to 3:30 PM, followed by an hour of termly extracurricular clubs, including athletics and swimming. Families are supported by an official school bus service and an on-site Special Educational Needs (SEN) coordinator.
