History

Saba Verda opened its doors to students for the first time in 2018. The focus is on stable, caring environments and project- and theme-based learning rooted in the British and Catalan curriculum. The curriculum is based on the British National Curriculum, with the addition of Catalan and Spanish languages and their history, geography and culture. The school is accredited by NABSS (National Association of British Schools in Spain) and Ensenyament Gencat.

Community

Open Day invites families to meet the team and learn about the curriculum. Open Day is on March 14th, from 10:30 AM. The campus is located in Tortosa, in the province of Tarragona, offering access to nearby natural and cultural sites such as Parc Natural de la Tinença de Benifassà and Parc Natural dels Ports. Our thematic and project-based programmes from Early Years to Secondary School foster a close-knit community of friends throughout students' studies. The director highlights the school's growing family and community, underscoring the supportive environment for learners.

Saba Verda International School is a private international school offering English-language education for students aged 3 to 18. It follows the British National Curriculum as the foundation from Early Years through Secondary, with Catalan and Spanish languages and their histories, geographies, and cultures integrated across the Primary years; in Secondary, students study English plus at least two other languages. The Secondary program (Year 7–11) began in 2020 and will extend to Year 12 with A Level options.
