Let the school know you're thinking of applying — they can share their prerequisites and help you through the process.
It's best to ask — circumstances can change at any time.
1. Express interest and start the admissions process by booking a visit or contacting Shine International Academy. The Welcome page notes Shine offers a British education and invites families to book a visit. The About page encourages families to contact Shine to learn more.
2. Enrollment assessment. During the enrollment process, each child is assessed for their learning style and educational strengths. This assessment informs an individual plan of targets. The targets are agreed with both the child and their parents and are then supported by the Shine team.
3. Admissions match and additional services. The admissions process is designed to establish a match between the cognitive and learning profile of a child and the provision within the academy. Additional services provided are child-centered and can be at an additional cost. Examples include English as an Additional Language (EAL) support, tutoring, learning support, psychology, occupational therapy, and speech and language therapy. The plan is developed with input from the child and their parents and is supported by the Shine team.
