Sunny View School was founded in 1971 and is a family-owned British curriculum school. It was the first school on the Costa del Sol to be unconditionally approved by the National Association of British Schools in Spain (NABSS) and is fully authorised by the Spanish Ministry of Education with regular inspections. The school is located just outside Torremolinos, Málaga, on a spacious site with dedicated buildings for Preschool, Primary, Secondary and Sixth Form and shared facilities including two libraries, a school hall and multiple playgrounds. Its sports facilities include a basketball and volleyball court, a sports pitch, a gymnasium and a swimming pool. The school emphasizes courtesy, caring and self-discipline, guided by the school rules: ready, respectful and responsible.

Community

Sunny View School maintains an active calendar of community and cultural events. The 2025/2026 calendar lists local and national holidays, including Sep 29 San Miguel and Oct 13 Fiesta Nacional de España. It also features school-wide celebrations such as Halloween on Oct 21, the Christmas Jumper Day and Christmas Fair on Dec 9, and the Spring Fair on May 16.
