The British School of Almeria

The British School of Almería is a private British international school in Almería serving students aged 3 to 18. It delivers a British curriculum across Early Years Foundation Stage, Primary, Secondary and Sixth Form. The language of instruction is English, with Spanish literacy embedded in the Early Years and Spanish curriculum components integrated in later stages. Primary core subjects include English, Mathematics and Science, taught alongside Spanish language and Social Studies. Secondary covers Key Stages 3 and 4 and leads to Cambridge IGCSE examinations at the end of Year 11, with modern foreign languages offered (French or German) and a broad range of subjects. Sixth Form provides Cambridge A Levels (Years 12–13) and the Spanish curriculum to enable access to Spanish universities, the United Kingdom and universities worldwide. The school is a NABSS member and part of the International Schools Partnership, which offers international experiences and exchanges. Examinations include IGCSEs and a dual English and Spanish qualification.
