The British School of Almería was founded in September 2007 to meet the needs of a growing local community and to provide parents with the opportunity to receive authentic British education without leaving Almería. It is authorized by the Spanish state government and by NABSS (National Association of British Schools in Spain). It is the only all-through British school in the province, serving pupils from 3 to 18 years. In June 2018, the school became part of the International Schools Partnership (ISP). Over the years the school has grown, with pupils progressing to universities in Spain, the United Kingdom and other countries.
The British School of Almería offers international experiences and multicultural exchanges through its ISP membership, enabling students to participate in experiences living abroad. Open Day events are available for families to visit and learn about the school. The school is located in Roquetas de Mar, Almería, and emphasizes a British curriculum in a welcoming community setting.
