The school runs Saturday School, offering English classes to children from public schools aged 7–18. There are 30 weekly sessions each academic year. Classes focus on vocabulary, grammar, speaking and listening, with Art and Crafts and Songs included as activities, and pupils are placed in small groups by similar academic ability to support progression. Cambridge English Examinations are available to Saturday School students, including Cambridge English Young Learners (Starters, Movers, Flyers) and KET, PET and FCE.
Art and Crafts and Songs are included as key components of Saturday School. These activities complement language learning by providing creative, expressive outlets.
After-school clubs include Dance for pupils from Year 1 to Year 4 on Tuesdays and Thursdays, Spanish Language club with Mrs Dieppa for 2º-3º ESO on Mondays, and a Carnival Drumming club for Year 7 on Mondays. The school teaches through English with parallel components of the Spanish National Curriculum.
After-school clubs provide social and recreational opportunities, including a Dance club (Years 1–4) on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and a Carnival Drumming club (Year 7) on Mondays.
In Sixth Form, students may have opportunities for work experience, extracurricular activities, and personal development.
The British School of Lanzarote is a private, all-age school on a single Canary Island campus serving students from age 2 to 18. It delivers a bilingual program that blends a British curriculum with elements of the Spanish National Curriculum and international qualifications, with teaching in English and parallel Spanish components. The school covers Key Stages 1–5, including Sixth Form, and prepares students for AS and A‑Levels in Psychology, Biology, Chemistry, Global Perspectives, Business, English Language, Maths and Computer Science. Established in 1985, it has grown into an internationally oriented setting with a NABSS-approved Sixth Form since February 2021. Facilities include Foundation Stage rooms, primary and secondary teaching spaces, a Library, Art Room, Science Laboratory, Computing Suite and a Sensory Room, plus on-site canteen and outdoor learning spaces. Extra activities include Saturday School for students, with Arts, Dance and language clubs that complement the core curriculum and reinforce community values.
