ESA offers a comprehensive programme of extracurricular activities designed to support the all-round development of students. Through sports, creativity, technology and other areas of interest, pupils have the opportunity to discover new passions, develop valuable skills and enjoy enriching experiences beyond the classroom. The programme supports personal growth and encourages a growth-mindset in learning.

Arts and Creative

Music, art and technology options are offered as part of the extracurricular programme. Artistic and technological options are available, with sign-up via a Google form. Pupils can explore creative interests beyond the classroom.

Social and Hobbies

An extensive sports extracurricular programme promotes an active lifestyle and teamwork. The programme offers activities that promote healthy physical development. Students can explore and sign up for sports through the enrolment form and related platforms.

Lifestyle and Wellbeing

This sports programme promotes an active lifestyle and wellbeing, with activities that encourage teamwork and resilience. It supports physical health and social interaction through group activities. Sign-up for sports is available via the Modumsport360 enrolment platform.

Based in Asturias, The English School of Asturias (ESA) delivers a British curriculum with Spanish integration for ages 2–18. Early Years (2–5) are taught in English; Primary (5–11) is in a bilingual environment; Secondary (11–16) combines academic subjects with practical skills, preparing students for IGCSE examinations. Sixth Form (16–18) is a non‑compulsory post‑16 stage; the final two years follow the British system with A‑Levels and routes to national and international universities. The school has over 25 years of bilingual education and is part of the Dukes Education family, reinforcing a multilingual, globally oriented approach and access to international universities. Facilities are modern and spacious, with a large recreation area, green spaces, a dining area, and a dedicated children's area.
