The Safeguarding and Child Protection Policy commits to a culture of safety and protecting children from abuse and harm, with a designated safeguarding lead coordinating child protection (Director Victoria Gomez-Middleton; Deputy in her absence). All staff receive safeguarding training at least every two years, and staff understand safeguarding as their responsibility. Recruitment checks include enhanced criminal records and identity verification for staff and volunteers, and safeguarding concerns are recorded and reported to relevant authorities.
