LEEDS International School was established on August 23, 1999, in Panadura by Dr. Sarath Jayatissa with a vision of a futuristic and global outlook grounded in religion and culture. It fills a gap in Sri Lanka's educational landscape by offering quality English-medium education that remains culturally relevant and accessible. It is a premier K-12 co-educational institution with a strong foundation in both London and National curricula, nurturing students to excel academically and personally. LEEDS hosts and participates in events such as the Inter-Leeds Athletic Championship 2025 at the Mahinda Rajapaksa International Stadium, Diyagama. Leeds International School is a K–12, co‑educational institution established in 1999 in Panadura, Sri Lanka, with a network across many towns.
