Fee Breakdown

Fees
Application / Admission fees
- Lyceum charges an admission/registration fee for new enrolments. Promotional waivers and discounts are occasionally applied (for example, a 50% admission‑fee waiver was offered for certain grades during an anniversary promotion).

Tuition fees (structure and example figures)
- Tuition amounts are set by branch and by grade/stream; Lyceum invoices tuition as term fees.
- Example (documented, branch-specific): a Lyceum Nugegoda fee receipt for the 2025–2026 session shows a Grade 12 (Upper School) first‑term charge recorded as four monthly line items of LKR 21,700 each plus a Science lab fee of LKR 8,000; a discount was applied on that receipt and the final total paid was LKR 86,950 (receipt dated 30 Sep 2025). This illustrates how term charges can appear as periodic instalment items within a term invoice for a specific student and grade.
- There is no single publicly posted flat table of per‑grade, per‑term tuition for all branches on the public site; tuition varies by branch, grade and optional services.

Billing schedule and payment terms
- Lyceum issues tuition as term fees (term‑based billing) and accounts handling for term fee payments is managed by the school's Accounts Receivable teams at branch level. Parents are invoiced for term fees and payments are recorded against term invoices.
- Example invoice practice (documented case): a 2025 first‑term invoice was presented as a sequence of monthly instalment line items for that term and paid online via the school's payment gateway. Parents should expect tuition to be presented as term charges, sometimes payable in instalments depending on the branch and grade.

Boarding fees (if applicable)
- Lyceum operates as a network of day schools (pre‑primary, primary and secondary branches) and does not list boarding as an offered service; therefore there are no boarding fees for Lyceum branches.

Other costs and compulsory/regular additional fees
- Textbooks and stationery: Lyceum operates dedicated bookshops for branches and parents purchase programme books and stationery; textbook and workbook charges are separate from tuition and appear on some student invoices or separate bookshop invoices.
- Examination fees and subject / lab fees: Individual exam entry charges (international exam fees) and subject/lab fees (for example, a documented Science lab fee of LKR 8,000 on a 2025 receipt) are billed in addition to tuition where applicable.
- Uniforms and merchandise: uniform items are sold through branch uniform stores or the Lyceum merchandise/bookshop channels; uniform costs are separate from tuition. Lyceum's optional Lyceum Guardian coverage may include uniforms as optional coverage.
- Optional services and extras: optional add‑ons such as workbooks, exam insurance / coverage, extra coaching, co‑curricular activity fees, school event tickets and transport (where provided) are additional to base tuition and vary by branch and by student selections.

Refund information
- No explicit, branch‑wide refund schedule or a published refund table for tuition and admission fees is posted in the publicly available terms and fee documents examined; specific refund terms (including whether admission/registration fees are refundable and terms for partial‑term withdrawals) are handled under the school's contractual/branch accounting rules. The school's Terms & Conditions do not contain a clearly posted general refund schedule.

Fee payment options (documented methods)
- Online payments via the school's payment gateway are accepted and have been used to pay term invoices (documented receipt shows payment via the payment gateway).
- Tuition and other charges are billed and managed at branch level by Accounts Receivable (branch accounting teams handle invoicing and receipting); branches maintain bookshops for book purchases and uniform stores for uniform purchases. These branch functions support common payment methods used by parents.

Summary note on availability of published fee tables
- Lyceum sets fees by branch and grade and issues term invoices; a comprehensive public fee table (per grade, per term) for all branches was not located in the public materials reviewed. An example branch receipt and the school's published programmes (bookshops, uniform stores, and the Lyceum Guardian coverage) show the kinds of additional fees parents should expect (exam fees, lab fees, books, uniforms and optional coverage). For precise per‑grade per‑term amounts for a given branch and academic year, the school's branch Accounts/Admissions office provides the official invoice and fee schedule for that branch and grade.
