Application / Enrollment fee

- Enrollment Fee: SEK 11,880 per student for the 2026–2027 academic year. This fee is invoiced when a place is offered, is non-refundable if the accepted place is later declined, and is used toward the School Fee as the first installment once the student takes the place.

Tuition fees by year group (International Section) — 2026/27

- Annual School Fee: SEK 47,520 per student (applies to PYP0–MYP4 for 2026–2027). This is a flat fee that applies across the International Section year groups covered by the International Section.

- Term breakdown (private payers are invoiced per term):
- Autumn Term fee: SEK 23,760.
- Spring Term fee: SEK 23,760.

Billing schedule and payment terms

- Private payers: invoices are issued twice per year (one per term). Continuing students receive invoices at least 30 days before the due dates; newly admitted students receive the first invoice at least 30 days before their planned start date (or upon acceptance). Each term invoice may be paid in one payment or in two instalments.

- Standard instalment schedule for private payers (2026–2027):
- Autumn Term (August–December): Autumn term fee SEK 23,760, due 31 July 2026. Instalment option: 31 July 2026 — SEK 11,880; 31 October 2026 — SEK 11,880.
- Spring Term (January–June): Spring term fee SEK 23,760, due 31 December 2026. Instalment option: 31 December 2026 — SEK 11,880; 31 March 2027 — SEK 11,880.

- Company / institutional payers: invoiced annually. For a student starting in the Autumn Term the full annual fee (SEK 47,520) is due by 31 July 2026; for a student starting in the Spring Term an adjusted invoice (SEK 23,760) is due by 31 December 2026. For students admitted mid-term, the first invoice is due 30 days from the invoice date.

- Invoices include payment instructions and due dates; families may choose the offered instalment option where applicable. Repeated late payment or non-payment may lead to termination of the student's place.

Boarding fees

- ISGR operates as a day school; there are no boarding facilities or boarding fees.

Other costs and fees

- Late Withdrawal Fee: SEK 11,880 for the 2026–2027 academic year. This fee is charged if a confirmed place is cancelled without timely written notice before the start of the term.

- Sibling discount: a 50% discount applies to the third fee-paying student in a family.

- Debt-collection and administrative consequences: if payment is not received by the due date a reminder is issued; if payment is not received within 14 days of the reminder the invoice may be sent to a debt-collecting agency (Intrum AB). The school may require prepayment of future term fees in cases of prior delinquent payments. Unpaid invoices may result in termination of the student's placement.

Refund information

- Refund of the Spring Term fee is only available when the full annual fee was paid at the beginning of the academic year and the place is withdrawn by 31 October (withdrawal deadlines and conditions apply as specified in the school's fee policy). Late withdrawal penalties apply if required notice is not given.

International School of the Gothenburg Region is a not-for-profit organisation with two sections: an International Section delivering the IB Primary Years Programme for ages 5–11 and the IB Middle Years Programme for 11–16, and a Swedish National Section (LgrP/LgrM). The school is in Gothenburg, Sweden, and has CIS accreditation since 2008. It participates in the IB Diploma Programme through IHGR, providing a continuous IB pathway. English is the main language of instruction in the international section; Grade 1 onwards includes a Host Country Swedish Language and Culture program, with English Language Acquisition support and Mother Tongue classes available. ISGR operates on two campuses: Guldheden for primary and Götaberg for middle and high school. Facilities include bright classrooms, libraries, art, music and science rooms, outdoor spaces, a football pitch and a PE hall (expanded in 2025). After-school PAL care and clubs cover coding, language cafés, exchanges and service projects for students.
