International School of the Stockholm Region (ISSR) is a publicly funded, English-speaking school founded by the City of Stockholm to meet demand for international education. It offers a complete IB continuum: Primary Years Programme (PYP), Middle Years Programme (MYP), Diploma Programme (DP) and the IB Career-related Programme (CP) for students aged 5 to 18. ISSR has served as an IB World School since 1999 and is based on Södermalm campus, which joined the IB Continuum in 2016. The school educates more than 600 students from over 70 countries, reflecting its international community. Facilities include a large library with books, databases, online services, a laptop program for students from M6 to DP2.
