Sundsvalls Gymnasium operates across two Sundsvall campuses, Hedbergska and Västermalm, serving around 1,000 students at Hedbergska. Hedbergska houses the Esthetic Programme, Restaurant and Food Programme, Sales and Service Programme, and the Social Sciences and Economics Programme. Västermalm offers the Natural Science Programme, Technology Programme, and the International Baccalaureate Diploma Programme, along with Construction and Civil Engineering, Electrical and Energy, Vehicle and Transport, Industrial Technology, Childcare and Recreation, and Care and Welfare. The school also runs Nationally Approved Sports Education (NIU) for elite athletes, enabling students to balance gymnasie studies with high‑level sport in wrestling, football, floorball, swimming and tennis, with training at NP3 Arena, Nordichallen and Balderhallen. The facilities include Hedbergska, GA-skolan and Altinska skolan, Altinska Restaurangen (a student‑run restaurant), a library and the Torget student hall, plus dedicated study rooms for the Teknik programme.
