History

The school has been family‑owned and operated in Zurich for over 30 years. They are the only trilingual Montessori licensed (AMS) institutions in the canton, offering an integrated care and education program from pre-kindergarten through primary school. The curriculum is based on Maria Montessori's principles and aligns with the Zurich Public Curriculum Lehrplan 21. The schools operate four d'Insle locations and three Sprungbrett locations in central Zurich.

Community

The schools maintain an active community calendar with events such as Open Day on January 31, 2026; Advent concerts on December 18, 2025; and Swiss traditions like the Räbeliechtli parade on November 3, 2025. They participated in national initiatives such as SRF Kids'

SayHi 2025 to promote respect and diversity. Past events include a 30-year celebration in June 2022, as well as theatre productions, projects, and family activities. Workshops and Community Activities include Parent-Child Cooking Class, Gardening Club, and Storytelling Sessions.

Situated in central Zurich, D'Insle-Sprungbrett Montessori Schools offer a continuous, integrated care and education concept for children aged 0 to 12. The campuses follow a Montessori approach alongside the Zurich Lehrplan 21, providing a seamless transition from pre-kindergarten to primary school. The schools are private, family-owned and AMS licensed, with four d'Insle sites and three Sprungbrett locations. German is the base language, with English and French spoken in each classroom, creating a tri-lingual environment and supporting DaZ for German learners. The main campus is on Signaustrasse; Forchstrasse 40 and Neptunstrasse 70 host d'Insle Pre-Kindergarten and Sprungbrett locations.
