Curriculum

US High School Program (Grades 8–12) is taught in English and offers Advanced Placement (AP) courses or the APID. The AP Path Program (Grades 10–12) is taught in English and includes AP Biology, AP Physics, AP World History, AP Human Geography, AP Calculus AB, AP German, AP Environmental Science, and AP Literature and Composition. The Swiss Matura Program (Grades 10–13) is taught in German, runs three and a half years in small groups, and prepares students for the Swiss federal Matura with first partial exams in February of the 12th grade and a second partial in German, English, French, Mathematics, their chosen major, and a supplementary subject in the 13th grade. Athletic fields host touch rugby and Ultimate Frisbee. Skateboarders and BMX bikers can use the pump track behind the school and the central Platz. A bouldering room supports climbing training, and a climbing gym in Meiringen offers additional routes nearby. A ski resort with more than 60 kilometers of trails is located a short walk from campus.

Scholarships

Swiss School System scholarships: The Ecole scholarships are categorized into special talents Music, Arts and Sports. They have limited availability. Recipients are accepted to an academic program in the Swiss School System (Sekundarstufe I, Matura, 10th School Year). They require minimum B2 German (unless mother tongue); holder of a Swiss passport or residence permit; Motivational letter (maximum one A4 page); a portfolio demonstrating talent for Music, Arts or Sports. Scholarships amount up to 40% of the annual tuition fee. Applications are accepted until May 31, 2026 and are valid for the Fall start SY26/27. Financial Aid: Financial aid is available for families with different financial backgrounds.
