Children can take a weekly piano class from age 4. The program is delivered by music specialists who cover piano, music, and choir instruction. The team includes instructors with expertise in theory and music history, and Jacques-Dalcroze-inspired methods are part of the program. End-of-year performances bring together singing, poetry, and dance with piano accompaniment.
The school provides complete immersion in francophone and anglophone languages and cultures with two native-language teachers. All subjects are taught in both languages, except for the initial reading and mathematics. To accelerate English learning, there is a 100% anglophone class for ages 3 to 6 in which children attend one week out of three.
Wednesday Kids Club offers after-school workshops on Wednesdays, led by staff including Eunice M'Bundani-Ky and Elodie Syllaleone. Children can engage in crafts and educational activities during these sessions. The parascolaire program includes activities such as gardening, board games, and free play after 16:00 with supervision until 18:00.
After-school care is available from 16:00 to 18:00 at a flat rate of 15 CHF per day, including a snack. Children play, do crafts, and, weather permitting, enjoy outdoor space. A weekly piano course is also available from age 4 as part of the parascolaire program.
École Montessori Aquilae is a bilingual Montessori school in Geneva for children aged 3 to 12. It follows Montessori pedagogy in a prepared environment that promotes autonomy and hands-on learning, with freedom of activity and mixed-age groups (3–6 and 6–12). The school uses total immersion in French and English: all subjects are taught in both languages, except initial reading and mathematics, with two native-language educators in each class and additional support as needed. In 3–6, there is a bilingual group taught by a Francophone and Anglophone pair plus an English-speaking assistant; a 100% anglophone class option is available. In 6–12, two educators supervise alongside subject teachers (German, sport). All educators hold AMI diplomas. The setting city centre is on the ground floor of arcades, with abundant natural light and spaces for outdoor learning. The school offers full-day care, a parascolaire program, weekly piano lessons, and performances. Marion Neyroud is the director.
