The park serves as a daily play and discovery area and children take regular walks through the fields and forest surrounding the school. The classrooms are airy, and when windows are open the children can hear the sound of a creek nearby. The school provides bilingual language exposure for younger children (English and French) and a trilingual program for older children (English, French and German). The campus offers full-day care from 8:00 to 18:00, free scheduled transportation to Nyon and surrounding communities (subject to availability), and healthy, freshly prepared meals on site, including the first 100% electric school bus in Suisse Romande.
AMI Montessori certified teachers create an inspiring learning atmosphere. In the 3-6 age group, children have daily contact with French and English and benefit from language immersion in the afternoons. In the 6-12 age group, children have daily contact with French and English and are exposed to German. Airy classrooms allow learning to unfold in harmony with the surrounding nature.
The parascolaire program runs daily until 6 p.m. with regularly changing themes, STEM-inspired experiments, free playtime and the discovery of nature in each season. Additional activities and ateliers are offered with selected external providers, such as football classes and coding workshops. Special interventions include emotion workshops and holiday camps. Weekly activities in the afternoon include soccer classes, robot workshops and more, and Ateliers provide workshops for children and parents. École Montessori Deux Mille Feuilles is a Montessori school in La Rippe, Vaud, serving children aged 3 to 12.
