Application / enrolment fee

- A one-time enrolment fee of CHF 2'500 is payable upon confirmation of a child's place.

Tuition fees — annual and per-term (Four Forest Luzern, school year listing)

Note: Tuition is published as an annual amount (per annum). Fees are billed in three equal advance instalments; per-term figures below show the annual fee divided into three equal instalments, rounded to the nearest franc where applicable. Citations for the published annual amounts appear after each section.

Sibling fee reductions

Billing schedule and payment terms

- School fees are invoiced in three equal advance instalments and are due on the following dates each school year: 1 August, 1 December and 1 April. Payment for a child who joins mid-month is invoiced from the first day of that month. Late payments may incur interest, reminder fees and collection costs. Receipt of the enrolment fee together with the first term's fee guarantees the reserved place.

- The school contract is binding on signature; cancellation or withdrawal rules require written notice and observe fixed semester end dates (end of January or end of July) with a minimum notice period specified in the contract. When enrolment is withdrawn prior to the school start, the enrolment fee and the school fee for the first trimester are payable.

Boarding fees

- Four Forest operates as a private day school and does not offer boarding; therefore no boarding fees apply.

Other costs and fees

- An annual expenses fee is charged per child to cover routine school-year costs such as excursions, class camps, certain school textbooks, dental hygiene visits, museum and theatre visits, and similar items. The exact amount for this expenses fee is published separately on the school price list. Optional activities (after-school clubs, certain extra-curricular courses) and the after-school club are charged in addition to tuition and are payable in advance; after-school activity fees for a trimester are not refundable if you cancel during that trimester. Lunch/catering costs are charged separately and are payable in advance; there is no reimbursement for missed lunches during a trimester.

- Uniform costs, specific learning materials, individual music lessons, and any specialist or optional external exam fees are additional where applicable and are charged separately. Details and price lists for after-school activities and clubs are provided in separate documents.

Refund and cancellation terms

- If a reserved place is not taken or an enrolment is withdrawn before the school year begins, the enrolment fee and the school fee for the first trimester are due and payable. Termination of the school contract is only permitted at the end of a semester (31 January or 31 July) and requires written notice with the required notice period; final invoices following termination are payable within the contract terms. Late or unpaid fees may attract interest and collection charges. Refunds for after-school activities are not given for cancellations during a trimester.

- Invoices are issued according to the billing schedule above; the contract and invoicing process indicate that fees are invoiced in advance and must be paid by the due dates. Four Forest Bilingual International School Luzern is a private day school with campuses in Luzern and Zug. The school follows the cantonal curricula of Luzern and Zug and uses the British National Curriculum for English language instruction. From day one, students are immersed in a bilingual program, with one week taught in German and the following week in English, ensuring balanced language development. Preschool through Primary and Lower Secondary are offered across both campuses, with secondary education for grades 7–10 available at each site. The school provides modern classrooms equipped with learning technologies, plus dedicated spaces for art, music and science, a library, and extensive outdoor areas including a forest school. After school, Schulclub runs daily from 3:15 to 6:00 with activities such as sport skills, robotics, language classes and drama, alongside individual music lessons. Field trips, theatre performances, and museum visits are included in the annual fee. For families.
