Institut Monte Rosa is an independent, co-educational boarding school in Switzerland that welcomes students aged 8 through 18. The school offers an Anglo-American college-preparatory program within an International Section, with Junior High (Grades 7–8) and High School (Grades 9–12) taught in English. Students study English Literature and Language, Mathematics, Sciences, Social Studies, Geography and History, plus a Foreign Language curriculum that includes French, German, Italian and Spanish, with optional Russian and Mandarin. The school also provides Cambridge IGCSE and other assessment routes alongside IELTS, TOEFL, SAT/College Board exams, and DELF. A postgraduate year concentrates on business, economics and computer studies, and a Trans-Academic English program supports college entry. Facilities are arranged in a home-like setting with on-site gardens, sports fields, classrooms, a computer room and quiet study spaces; dining is available at an on-site iSnack Bar. The Gademann family has led the school since the 1960s, carrying forward Swiss tradition.
