Wellbeing and Support

How students are nurtured, understood, and kept safe

Social and Emotional Learning (SEL)

Autonomy, Kindness, Disciplined, Listen, and Respect are core engagements guiding student development. All staff are AMI-certified to apply Montessori pedagogy and accompany students through each stage of personal development. The school provides a caring, personalized learning environment that adapts to the unique needs of each student. The classroom culture supports physical, emotional and intellectual development within the Montessori framework. Pedagogical guides foster independent work and social learning within a community of learners.

English as an Additional Language (EAL)

The school teaches in English and French. It offers a fully bilingual English-French approach using the Montessori method. It serves children aged 18 months to 15 years. Educators are certified by the Association Montessori International (AMI) to bring Montessori pedagogy to every classroom. The learning environment is caring and personalized, adapting to the needs of each student.

Mental Wellbeing

The Tomatis method has been implemented since 2018 in collaboration with Seeds of Knowledge Montessori School. The Tomatis Method (Audio-Psycho-Phonology) is an auditory re-education program designed to develop attention and concentration to improve learning potential. The process begins with a listening test to assess auditory attention. Listening sessions include passive and active phases with specially designed headphones and music, including Mozart, and vocal exercises to improve listening and voice control. Testimonials describe improvements in confidence, social engagement and overall learning progress.

Montessori Seeds of Knowledge is a private Montessori school in Etoy, Switzerland, operating since 2021. The school follows the Montessori pedagogy in a bilingual English-French environment, guiding children from 18 months to 15 years through four age-based programs: 18–36 months; 3–6 years; 6–12 years; and 12–15 years. All educational guides are AMI-certified, serving as supportive pedagogical guides rather than traditional instructors. The curriculum emphasizes independence, kindness, listening, discipline, and respect, delivered within a personalized learning environment that respects each child's pace of development. The school fosters hands-on exploration and practical life skills within a safe, family-friendly setting. In addition to core Montessori activities, after-school care and enrichment sessions extend learning with targeted offerings such as Art & Sciences, Pottery & Creativity, Sewing, Science Workshop, and Story Creation. The program's bilingual structure and AMI credentials make it an accessible option for international families seeking continuity of Montessori practice in Switzerland today.
