Located in Neuchâtel, Switzerland, on the shores of Lake Neuchâtel. The Swiss campus is at Crêt-Taconnet 4, 2000 Neuchâtel. The Canadian Office is in Toronto, Ontario. Ontario Grade 12 courses are offered toward the Ontario Secondary School Diploma, with credits from other jurisdictions used as equivalencies toward the diploma.
The school offers Ontario Grade 12 courses toward the Ontario Secondary School Diploma. Classes are small, and the university guidance team provides one-on-one and group guidance for university applications. The Ontario Diploma is a prerequisite for Canadian, US and international university admission. Credits from outside Ontario can be used toward the Ontario Diploma.
The school provides a wide range of extracurricular activities organized by NJC and involving local high schools as well as other international schools. Teams may compete in tournaments in the local community and among members of the Swiss Group of International Schools (SGIS). The Foyer Council leads student activities, and Model UN is offered as a select group that attends a semesterly simulation with local and international schools. The travel program includes mandatory and optional curriculum-based trips such as the Orientation Trip within Switzerland; World War I Battlefields trip in Belgium and France; Greece and Italy; World War II Battlefields Trip in France; as well as optional trips to Munich/Kraków, Zermatt Ski Week, and Florence; independent travel weekends are available with permission.
Neuchâtel Junior College (NJC) offers a Canadian curriculum-based international high school program in Neuchâtel, Switzerland. Students take Ontario Grade 12 courses in the final year or during a gap year to earn the Ontario Secondary School Diploma, with credits from non-Ontario jurisdictions counted toward the diploma. The program is a pre-university year with small classes and a supportive learning environment, and it supports admission to Canadian, US and international universities. It emphasizes international immersion and French-language exposure by living with Swiss hosts and travel integrated into the curriculum. The founder Leonard Wilde believed, “To be a leader today, one must travel the world,” guiding the travel-embedded program. Facilities include a Neuchâtel campus on Lake Neuchâtel; the Ontario Diploma is complemented by a university guidance team offering one-on-one and group support. The Dr. Daniel Andreae Scholarship for Community Engagement provides CAD 30,000 toward tuition for 2026–27 for qualified, globally eligible applicants.
