Children learn across six curriculum areas: Personal and Social Development; Language Development; Mathematics; Knowledge and Understanding of the World; Physical Development; and Creative Development, taught through immersion with two language teachers and alternating days. The school operates from 7:30 a.m. to 6 p.m., with integrated before- and after-school care, lunch supervision, and a range of clubs and regular trips. With around 500 students, SIS Basel emphasises bilingual education and international-mindedness, guided by Principal Marcel Brunner since August 2023.
