The school offers IGCSE (Year 9–10) and International A Levels (Year 11–12). English is the language of instruction, with language classes taught by native speakers. English, German, Mathematics, Biology, History and Geography are available subjects, with additional subjects offered on request. Classes are small and taught by experienced teachers, and graduates have access to higher education opportunities worldwide.
The Sport, Dance & Music Academy provides coaching in sport, dance and music within the City Campus environment. It uses state‑of‑the‑art facilities on campus, including dedicated studios for music and dance, and offers tailor‑made programmes with personalised coaching. The academy combines academic study with practical training through regular workshops, training sessions and live performances, supported by mentoring and health and wellbeing resources.
Winterthur Conservatory collaboration supports students with musical ambitions. Weekends feature communal activities and access to Zurich's cultural offerings, including museums, theatre performances, concerts and city festivals. Holidays include excursions and summer camps in Winterthur and Disentis, broadening cultural exposure.
A wide range of activities is available beyond classes, including on‑site sports facilities for ice hockey, ice skating, tennis, athletics, football, handball and floorball, plus weekend activities and social events such as movie nights. Weekend and holiday programs provide opportunities to engage in sport, culture and music, as well as city‑region attractions and events.
Leadership and career development are integrated into the programme. The Head of Academics creates tailor‑made learning plans, and each student has a Personal Learning Coach. A Careers Advisor assists with subject choices and university applications, guiding students toward higher education opportunities worldwide.
The City Campus is located in Winterthur at Grüzefeldstrasse 34, 8400 Winterthur, just outside the city centre and about 20 minutes from Zurich Airport. The Winterthur/Zurich location offers access to diverse cultural activities in the city and nearby areas. The boarding facility is in a new WIN4 campus building with en‑suite single rooms, separate boys' and girls' living areas, on‑site staff, common rooms and freshly prepared meals. The boarding house operates 44 weeks a year, closing for six weeks in summer and two weeks over Christmas, with summer camps available in Disentis and Winterthur.
