Lunch is provided by high-quality caterers with a daily lunch program through an ordering system; students may sign up for lunch and choose from a variety of meals.
There is an eight-house system. Houses meet twice a week and compete internally and between houses; each house is looked after by a house mom and dad.
The school is private and independent. It operates as an independent school and is accredited by the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC).
Asia American International Academy (AAIA) is located in Linkou District, New Taipei City, Taiwan. The campus is near the Taoyuan Airport MRT line (A8 Chang-Gung Station and A9 Linkou Station) and is close to Mitsui Outlet Park Linkou and Shine Square. The school offers an American-based curriculum for grades 6–12 and is accredited by WASC.
