Grace Christian Academy Taipei began as a ministry of the Nan Kang Grace Baptist Fellowship Church, which has existed for more than forty years. The academy operates as a separate entity from the church and is governed by a leadership team including a Chancellor and a Principal. The school pursued accreditation with the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) and received full accreditation after a 2015 visit.
