1) Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) – Kang Chiao International School's Xiugang Campus and Linkou Campus are fully accredited by ACS WASC. The school began the WASC process in 2013, received an interim accreditation in 2017, and in spring 2024 ACS WASC announced a six‑year accreditation through June 30, 2030, with a mid‑cycle visit planned for 2026–2027. This external accreditation is intended to validate ongoing school improvement and the quality of the educational program.
2) East Asia Regional Council of Schools (EARCOS) – Kang Chiao International School–Xiugang Campus is listed as a registered member of EARCOS, a regional association of international schools in East Asia. Membership signals engagement with a network that supports intercultural understanding, professional collaboration, and school improvement among its member schools.
(Notes: The KCIS site also states that the school aligns its curriculum with international programs such as the IB Diploma Programme and AP, but these are not described on KCIS's accreditation pages as accreditations.)
Kang Chiao International School (KCIS) Xiugang Campus is a private K–12 campus located on Xiugang Hill in Xindian District, New Taipei City. The campus serves G7–G12 students on the secondary side and offers boarding through on-site dormitories. KCIS Xiugang emphasizes a bilingual, international program and provides facilities such as an international conference hall, performing spaces, a gym, an indoor pool, a library, and a field education area. The school operates a G7–G12 international program that includes IB and AP pathways, and it also hosts a strong admissions process for overseas university pathways. The campus is part of KCIS's broader K–12 system that includes Preschool and K–6 programs at other KCIS campuses. KCIS Xiugang also offers a school bus service for student transport and has dedicated dormitories for boarding. The program combines English-language instruction with Chinese-language curricula and offers a second language program, along with various enrichment and activity options.
