MDID operates on Mingdao High School's Taichung campus, which features two libraries—Hungdao Library and Pavilion Library—together housing more than 120,000 volumes and providing access to hundreds of journals. Academic facilities include a MDID Science Laboratory, a Computer Lab, and an Electronic Circuit Factory for hands-on science and technology learning. The campus also offers sports, dining, and arts facilities, including a Basketball Court, a Swimming Pool, the Orchid Pavilion Dining Hall, Mingdao Gallery, and multiple conference/performing spaces such as Teimei Conference Hall, Mingchih Conference Hall, and Fulai Performing Hall, plus a Church-Dancing Room.
The Mingdao campus includes a Basketball Court and a Swimming Pool for PE and aquatic activities; it also features a Rock-Climbing Place and a Scouting Campsite for outdoor and extracurricular activity programs.

Mingdao High School International Department (MDID) is the international arm of Mingdao High School in Taichung, Taiwan. It delivers the International Baccalaureate (IB) Middle Years Programme (MYP), Diploma Programme (DP) and Career-related Programme (CP). MDID was established in 2012; DP authorization was granted in May 2018, MYP authorization in January 2019, and CP authorization in 2023. Classes run on a semester system with 50-minute lessons across eight blocks in a five-day cycle, and instruction is delivered in English with Chinese and a second foreign language taught as part of the curriculum. The language of instruction is English, and MDID offers a second foreign language program including French, Spanish, German and Japanese, alongside Chinese language study and English language/Literature. The department is committed to a holistic, globally minded education and supports strong university pathways and a broad programme of co‑curricular activities.
